LCRD began in 2006 as Lilac City Roller Girls, founded by a small group of people determined to bring roller derby to Spokane. Today, Lilac City Roller Derby is an umbrella for competitive and recreational teams, each with its own identity and purpose. Together, they share a volunteer-led nonprofit, a new-skater program, and a community of skaters, officials, volunteers, and fans.

A place to belong
LCRD welcomes people of all gender identities, backgrounds, experience levels, and roles. Some compete; others officiate, coach, organize events, or volunteer behind the scenes. Whatever brings you to derby, our goal is to provide a place where you can learn, challenge yourself, and feel respected, supported, and safe.

We acknowledge that we operate on the traditional lands of the Spokane People.
